Tetral Tapes

At Tetral Industries, we provide a versatile range of foam tapes designed to meet the varied demands of the roofing industry. With options tailored across different foam properties, lengths, widths, and thicknesses, our foam tapes deliver reliable performance and support across a wide range of roofing applications.

Purlin Tape (Lined & Linerless) Application:

  • Direct Contact Points: Apply along the purlins or battens where metal or polycarbonate roofing sheets will rest.
  • Under Safety Mesh: to reduce material interactions and potential damage caused by expansion movement or walking traffic.
  • Across Roof Spans: Use continuously along the length of purlins to maintain consistent protection.
  • Under Fasteners: Acts as a buffer at the fastener contact points to control noise transmission and limit material degradation

Purlin tape is a protective foam tape that is applied between metal & polycarbonate roofing sheets, on structural purlins and between safety mesh. It serves as a crucial component in a roofing systems to enhance performance and durability.

Sealant Foam Tape Application

  • Seal seams and Joints
  • Place under ridge caps and flashing to prevent water ingress
  • Apply on purlins to reduce expansion and contraction noise
  • use between roofing sheet laps to seal and eliminate noise
  • Place between metal and polycarbonate roofing systems to seal and minimise noise
  • On low sloping roofs, place under flashing to prevent potential water ingress

Sealant Foam Tape also know as lap tape is a durable, weather-resistant tape used in roofing to create a watertight seal. Ideal for metal, polycarbonate, fibreglass or metal roofs, it effectively seals joints, seams, and gaps, preventing leaks and moisture penetration

Tray Roofing Foam application:

  • Installed along the centre of the Tray pan to increase panel rigidity.
  • The adhesive backing ensures secure placement and easy installation.
  • The Foam can be used for both the Tray Roof and Tray Cladding
  • The Tray Roofing Foam may be fixed to the tray pan in advance of roofing sheet installation, or alternatively, applied in situ.
  • Reduces oil canning and limits thermal or mechanical distortion
  • Mitigates wind induced noise

Tray Roofing Foam is a high pressure expanded closed cell polyethylene (PE) foam coated with acrylic adhesive with liner.  Tray Roofing Foam can be supplied in black and comes in 10m or 25m rolls.
